Chaityaparipati (Temple Visit) - Jain daily practice
Chaityaparipati involves visiting several Jain temples (derasars) in a prescribed sequence, typically early in the morning. Devotees walk from temple to temple, performing darshan and a brief puja at each one. It is especially popular in Gujarati Jain communities.
Regular darshan strengthens faith, brings mental peace, and is considered highly meritorious. Walking to temples also brings physical and spiritual discipline.
